25 years later...

For our next Album Club we're looking back at two giant albums that were released 25 years ago!

Time to decide...

To vote for the album we should discuss got to our Poll

Celebrating Sanctuary

Unfortunately, due to low sign-up (and some other complicating factors)- this session has now been cancelled.

This September we're linking our regular Album Club to 'Celebrating Sanctuary'- Birmingham's World Music Festival - which celebrates and raises awareness of the contributions that refugees make to Birmingham and the UK.

Our album for discussion has been nominated by Celebrating Sanctuary's artistic adviser (and founder of Surge Orchestra) Sid Peacock and comes from Guinea-Bissau musician and singer Nifeco Costa.

Nifeco Costa will also be performing with his band Babock Djazz at MAC Birmingham on Saturday 21st September.

To listen to the album: Bkô Biack by Nifeco Costa
